Great for City Visit

So many things were wonderful here -- room size, the spectacular city view, location above shopping and Admiralty MTR and next to Hong Kong Park, extremely helpful bell staff, and amenities galore. Odd -- health club entry down one flight, overall health club not as nice as at Shangri-La next door. Most staff spoke only basic English and some organization seemed strange -- check-in at Reception, check-out at Cashier, Concierge desk number not listed in in-room directory. The luxurious room, with unbelievably prime bedding, fresh orchids and wall-to-wall views that enabled me to produce post-card perfect photos -- this is what I remember and what will make me want to come back. Make sure your rate includes breakfast, if possible -- the buffet is very comprehensive though you might as well skip made-to-order eggs in favor of impressive buffet of bacon, eggs benedict, sauteed mushrooms, etc.

wow, this hotel had all the amenities provided. Located right above the admiralty mtr station, it is very convenient to travel around as well as shop the mall a few floors below the hotel. There is a buffet breakfast each morning with a wide variety of food. The rooms are very clean and the view is just spectacular. During the new years celebration, we could see the entire hongkong harbour. Although a bit pricey, it is definitely the best bang for your buck!
